Apple will overtake HP

Apple will overtake HP as top global PC supplier, says analyst

A research done by the Canalys firm, shows how Apple is going to take over HP by  the half of 2012. Pads have helped the Apple company to reach the second place in sales in one trimester. However Tim Coulling, analyst at Canalys says that for the product to be globalized the price has to decrease a lot. The Blackberry device is also being  eroded by the Apple iPhone devices.

Summer Vacations of 2011

This summer I travelled a lot. The first week of summer vacation I stayed in Bilbao as always. At the mornings I went sailing to Real Club Maritimo del Abra and then I used to go to the beach.

On July I went to Switzerland to a summer school.  At Brillantmont, the school I went to, we took french classes every morning and then on the afternoons we went to play sports. Some days they would takes us on excursion and I once went to the Cailler chocolate factory. I had a great time there and made many friends!

The first two weeks of August I was in Marbella sun bathing and relaxing. Some friends of mine came to my house to spend some days. I even took some Padel classes in Nueva Alcantara.

After Marbella I went to Menorca to a friend's house. There we used to go on a boat they rented every year to the sea. We would go to some small beaches dock there the boat and have lunch in the "chiringuitos". Then we continued sailing.

I had a great time this summer!

JPG vs GIF vs PNG

These graphic file formats are the most common ones in the web.

JPG or JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group.  This technique is used to compress color and grayscale. This programm is best for complex images and graphics.

GIF stands for Graphic interchange format. This program is a lossless techinique and supports only 256 colors. With an animator editor, GIF images can be put together for animated images.

PNG is short for portable network graphics. This techinique is an improved one of GIF. It can be more compressed but can not be animated.

This photo is an example of a PNG format.
In my opinion  I think that the best type is JPG because it has the best color technique even though GIF can be animated so this program is also very good.

Desktop Publishing

Desktop publishing is a system that allows you to use various margins and justifications, different typefaces, and embed illustrations and graphs directly into the text. The most powerful desktop publishing systems allows you to make illustrations and the less powerful do not allow you. Scribus is a computer application that you can use for desktop publishing.

Scribus belongs to the family of applications known as Desktop Publishing programs. These create great looking documents such as CD covers, posters, logos and drawings very easily and Import photos and other artwork with precise color control. Web and print have two different objectives. Graphics used on a website are almost always unusable for commercial printing. If the text is going to be a big part of your document, start your favorite text editor or word processor and compose the text first. Bitmap images are composed of pixels or dots and are tipically on the formats: JPEG, TIFF, PNG or BMP. These generate line drawings and other artwork which is kept in a vector format inways which preserve their appearance at any scale. Vector files don't save dots, but coordinates which describe  where to draw the lines or fill shapes. One other way you can import files into Scribus is via PDF. This is more appropriate for drawings and images versus text. If you need just the text from a PDF, you can open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader or KPDF and copy and paste from the clipboard. you can only import one page of a PDF at a time, and you cannot yet edit imported PDFs.

History of Blogging

The origin of blogging is older than Internet. It started when people had personal diaries or journals. The word blog is a mix of the words web and blog. Blogs usually are about  the personality of the author or the company employees they represent. Blogging was a popular method for online journals in 1990s. In 1994 Justin Hall a Swarthmore College student creates what is considered to be the very first blog "Links.net". People like students, prents and employees continued to investigate and work with blogs and now there are a lot of blogs.
